Rachel Elizabeth Olsen was born in Oslo, Norway on November 4, 1892, to Lauritz and Marie Olsen. Her father, Lauritz was born August 7, 1852 in Prestegarden, Ullensaker, Norway. Her mother, Berte Marie Haakensen, was born in Kolby, Ullensaker, Norway on June 12, 1854. Lauritz and Berte Marie and family sailed from Liverpool on the ship, Commonwealth, landed in Boston and settled in Logan, Utah. Rachel married Leon Monette Sealy on July 18, 1917 in Logan, Utah. They were parents of Eva Marie, Ruth, Milton, Denton, Ramon and Angela. Leon was born February 1, 1894 in Magnolia, Alabama, a son of Samuel Henry and Henrietta Burgener Sealy. He died December 15, 1974. When Rachel was 95 years old she had 25 grandchildren and 50 great grandchildren. Rachel was 100 years old on July 1, 1992.
